METSIM Installation Instructions
(All Steps MUST be carried out with Administrator Privileges)
To download a free demo of METSIM or if you do not have a METSIM key, follow only steps 3-4
NOTE: Google Chrome 17 and later reports all executable applications (.exe) as potentially harmful; we have confirmed our files are safe for download.

4) Extract/Run: METSIMvvvvvvvv.exe
Following METSIM installation, you will be prompted to Restart your computer; please do so.
5) Insert: USB Key
6) Wait for USB Key to be located and activated, the light should come on.
7) Run METSIM from Start Menu/Programs/METSIM
Note: Once the appropriate key drivers have been installed, only steps 3 and 4 will need to be repeated for future updates
Windows 10 may not copy all the APL Fonts into the C:\Windows\Fonts\ directory during installation. If any of the METSIM Screens or APL Symbols do not display correctly copy the APL Fonts from the C:\METSIM\Fonts\ directory into the C:\Windows\Fonts directory. All METSIM Screens and APL Symbols should now display correctly.
Windows VISTA and Windows 7/8/10 may report messages that the software is not compatible and installed correctly. Respond positively to all messages as METSIM will have been installed correctly. All versions of Metsim run on all versions of Windows, XP, Vista 32/64 bit and Windows 7/8/10 32/64 bit.
To activate the METSIM help on Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8, download one of the following and run the appropriate Windows file for either the 32 or 64 bit version:
